Our Team

Decades of federal service, intelligence expertise, and special operations experience—applied to private sector protection.

A Note on Discretion

You'll notice we use first names only. This isn't an oversight—it's intentional. Many members of our team remain operational, conducting sensitive work that requires discretion beyond what's typical in private security.

Some of our personnel continue to hold clearances, maintain government relationships, or operate in environments where full identification would compromise their effectiveness or safety.

Our commitment to tradecraft, operational security, and discretion extends to how we present ourselves.

Josh

Josh

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Josh is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Advisory Group, a discreet, intelligence-led security and advisory firm trusted by high-net-worth families, family offices, corporations, and national-level organizations. He brings more than 18 years of elite national security, intelligence, and special operations experience, with a career defined by judgment under pressure and disciplined leadership in complex environments.

A former U.S. Air Force Intelligence Officer, Josh has overseen national-level intelligence and crisis operations at the highest tiers of the U.S. government. He previously served as Mission Director at the National Security Agency’s National Security Operations Center (NSOC), the United States’ central hub for real-time global threat response. In that role, he coordinated directly with senior intelligence leadership and the White House Situation Room during critical national security events.

Josh’s expertise spans some of the most consequential security challenges of our time—including emerging hypersonic threats, global missile activity, counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, counter-drone environments, space-related security considerations, and the broader spectrum of intelligence operations. Throughout his career, he has worked collaboratively with senior elements of the U.S. Intelligence Community, including the CIA, Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), the FBI, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). Internationally, Josh worked in an official U.S. government capacity alongside trusted allied intelligence services across the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and other close partners, strengthening coordination, awareness, and informed decision-making at national scale.

Today, Josh brings government-grade intelligence tradecraft to the private sector. He built Strategic Advisory Group around a simple philosophy: the most effective protection is proactive, intelligence-driven, deeply personal, and executed with absolute discretion. Under his leadership, SAG helps clients anticipate risk, safeguard privacy, and operate with confidence anywhere in the world.

Beyond his professional work, Josh is personally committed to philanthropy and community impact. He actively supports initiatives such as Community First Project, The Kash Foundation, and The KFG Project, reflecting his belief that leadership carries a responsibility to protect, uplift, and give back.
